How to be Productive while Working From Home
We all are working from home due to COVID-19 & social distancing in play. During such times, productivity gets affected due to internal and external conditions. So the following are some tips on how to be productive while working from home.
Sleeping on time every day –
Sleeping on time helps in productivity the next day you start working. If you don’t sleep on time, then you might feel sleepy and drowsy throughout the day. Hence sleep is a significant factor to count in when you want to be productive. Set a sleeping schedule and go to sleep around that time. Once habituated to the timing, you will start to have a good night’s sleep.
Get Ready for the Day –
Working from home does not mean sitting around in pajamas while watching television in the background. Just like in an office environment, you have to get yourself ready for accomplishing your activities for the day when working from home. Get ready and dress suitably as you would if you were going into the office.

Breakfast is an essential meal of the day. It would be best if you did not skip it. Breakfast gives you enough energy to start the day. Eating a healthy breakfast sets you in a good mood for the day, which is what you need for a productive day ahead.

When you work in an office, you have your designated work area where you spend your time working. At home, it is not the case. You can operate from anywhere, but here’s is the problem. Not every place in our house can help you be productive. You need to find and assign yourself a space where you are most productive. Example – On a bed, with your laptop, you might feel lazy and sleepy, but on a proper desk or a study table, you might be productive.

Eating Healthy Overall –
Due to availability being an issue, it’s easy to indulge in eating junk. But, avoiding eating unhealthy foods as they cause health problems later. You can gain weight during difficult times more comfortable with making sure to eat healthily and, if possible, have healthier snack options in hand.
These are some small habits that can help you to be productive while working from home. There will be many distractions at home but try to focus as much as possible and be efficient.
