Eating rice makes you Fat

Rice like any other cereal contains calories. When you eat more calories than the body can utilize, the excess calories get converted to fat and gets stored in the body. Any food, even the healthy ones if eaten in excess can increase your body weight if it exceeds the body’s calorie requirement. Rice will not increase your weight if eaten in the right proportion as part of a well-balanced meal.

Brown bread is better than white bread

Don’t be surprised when I tell you that brown bread is nothing but white bread which has got brown coloring, mostly caramel. Next time you want to buy breads, buy those which have been made from whole wheat flour!

Eggs are a Big NO!

An egg especially the egg yolk has been transformed into a demon who increases the cholesterol in the body and causes heart attacks. Cholesterol is an essential part of the body, being used to make steroid hormones such as testosterone, estrogen and cortisol. The daily cholesterol intake should be maintained below 200 mg per day. An egg contains about 186 mg of cholesterol and all of it is in the yolk, this is below the recommended intake of below 200 mg per day. The body will only synthesize less cholesterol since it is getting it through food. You can consume up to 3 eggs a week as it is also rich in other beneficial nutrients. Avoid egg yolk if you have been advised by your doctor otherwise ENJOY EATING EGGS!

Eating less will make me loose Fat

Eating less, skipping meals or starving yourself will certainly make you lose weight don’t get too happy about this. You should be seriously worried as you are causing grave harm to your body. When you are not giving your body the required energy to your body you are creating a calorie deficit. Now you would think that your body will utilize the stored fat to compensate the loss! But you have underestimated your body, it actually preserves the stored fat to keep you alive during the starvation period. It utilizes the muscles first for fuel and also as the muscle mass decreases the energy utilized by them decreases saving the fat reserves. When you do go back to eating, your body wants to store up for the next starvation period, meaning that you are likely to gain weight even if you consume fewer calories. Sensible way to lose fat is by following an activity regime and dietary measures.
