Instead of fluids with high caffeine content, choose drinks that cool your body for summer. Like Iced Tea, Lemonade, Ginger-Mint Cooler, Orange Juice and watermelon-lime cooler! Summer brings beautiful colorful berries like Cherries, Raspberries, Blueberries which liven up your food! Eat these in abundance as these have loads of health benefits in store for you! They help induce better sleep, decrease the fat storage of body, help lower cholesterol levels and catalyze weight loss!

Apart from raw salads, vegetables like Tomatoes, Onion, and corn can be included in the cooking of your everyday food during summer so that you can reap benefits even more. Tomatoes and onions can included in cooking pulses, soups and curries of vegetables! Corn is a delicacy which can be cooked into corn tikki, palak corn, mixed vegetables, upma and more! Onions help you from heatstroke by facilitating in perspiration. Tomatoes contain a special carotenoid which protects you from sunburn. Sweet corn contains special antioxidants which protect you against harmful rays of the sun!
